Roger Sherman is a founder of Florentine Films. His work has won a James Beard Award, an Emmy, a Peabody, and two Academy Award nominations.

His film, Alexander Calder, was called an American masterpiece by Charlie Rose.

The Wall Street Journal said Richard Rodgers: The Sweetest Sounds was “perhaps the best film ever produced in the American Masters PBS series.” The Restaurateur, a portrait of Danny Meyer (known for Gramercy Tavern, Union Square Cafe, The Modern, and, of course, Shake Shack) earned Roger his first James Beard award.

Maybe In Search for Israeli Cuisine will be his second!
