Brianna Perez, a violinist, has been playing the instrument since the age of 6 when she started at the Bronx Global Learning Institute for Girls. She has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, The Greene Space at New York Public Radio Station, Yankee Stadium, Montclair Film Festival, and Metropolitan Museum of Art, among others. She is featured in the Academy Award nominated documentary film, Joe’s Violin, which celebrated its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2016. She has been highlighted on NBC News, CBS News, FOX News, The New York PostThe Daily News, and The Huffington Post, to name a few. Ms. Perez is currently a freshman at Talent Unlimited High School, where she is furthering her violin studies.
