After her mother’s death, Anne, a young film director, discovers an old family photo that throws her understanding of her parents, Michael and Léna, into question. In a journey that stretches back from the 1980s to postwar France, Anne’s research reveals a dark family secret that intertwines an unexpected player with Anne’s own destiny. Handsomely shot and stylishly costumed, this semi-autobiographical period drama by veteran Director Diane Kurys, features French stars Benoit Magimel, Melanie Thierry, Nicolas Duvauchelle, and Sylvie Testud.
