Nitzan Gilady is a director/producer/screenwriter of the documentary films Jerusalem Is Proud to PresentFamily TimeIn Satmar Custody, and The Last Enemy. His films have received 13 international awards, participated in hundreds of international film festivals, and broadcasted in prestigious TV channels over the world (among them: Sundance Channel and ZDF-ARTE). In 2015, his first feature film, Wedding Doll, which he directed, wrote and produced, won three international awards at the 2015 Jerusalem Film Festival (including Best Debut Film).

The film later premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, received nine Israeli Academy Award nominations, received two (Best Actress and Best Custom), and seven more international awards.

Mr. Gilady is a graduate of the Academy of Arts’ Circle in the Square in New York and has been a senior lecturer at the Academy Institute of Holon for 12 years in the Visual Communication department. He received a grant for the Art of Cinema 2004, initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport that is given to outstanding Israeli filmmakers and film professionals.
