Award-winning actor Jonathan Pryce (Brazil, Evita, Game of Thrones, Glengarry Glen Ross, Pirates of the Caribbean) stars as an aging Jewish baker desperate to save his century-old family business from being bought out by a greedy real-estate developer in the British dramedy DOUGH.

Recently widowed and misunderstood by his own family, Nat Dayan (Jonathan Pryce) is trying to keep his business afloat in London’s East End. With his best customers dying off, his assistant leaving to work for his greedy competitor Sam Cotton (Philip Davis), and his son refusing to take over the bakery, it is up to Nat to preserve his father’s legacy. Seemingly out of options, Nat reluctantly enlists the help of his housekeeper’s teenage son, Ayyash (Jerome Holder), a Muslim refugee from Darfur. Ayyash, desperately trying to get himself and his mother out of poverty, takes the job as a front to sell cannabis for a tough neighborhood marijuana dealer (Ian Hart). What happens next is a comedy of errors that attracts a whole new clientele to the bakery and changes both Nat’s and Ayyash’s life forever. Entertaining and humorous, DOUGH is a warmhearted story about friendship, overcoming prejudices, and finding value in the things that matter most.
