Policies for Virtual Screenings & Special Events
If you are a ticket buyer, you may browse our Fall Fest selections at PJFF.org. In early October 2020, we will also have a digital brochure available for download to make curating your festival even easier.
Once you purchase a ticket(s), you will receive both a confirmation email and an email containing your clickable voucher codes. When you click on a voucher code, you will be taken directly to your selected film on CineSend. Once there, you can watch the film’s trailer, but you will not have access to watch the movie until its scheduled screening date and time. Most Fall Fest films are available to stream for 48 hours. Still, there are a few exceptions that either screen on a specific day and time (like GOLDEN VOICES), are available for 24 hours only (BREAKING BREAD), or accessible for an extended period (AUTONOMIES).
Geo-Blocking Virtual Events
Please note that most, if not all, virtual films have geo-blocking restrictions. These films’ distributors have imposed these restrictions to assure that other virtual film festivals across the country and abroad can expose their audiences to these films without having their attendance compromised. Typically, Fall Fest films are available to PA, NJ and DE residents (this includes students who temporarily reside in these areas for school). Currently, three Fall Fest films are open to PA residents only: GOLDEN VOICES, THE END OF LOVE, and SHIVA BABY. One movie, BREAKING BREAD, is available to PA & DE only.
Special events such as our Masterclass with the creator of BoJack Horseman, ART & ACTIVISM: JEWISH ARTISTS SHOWCASE & PANEL, and VIRTUAL PREMIERE OF ARIEL RIVKA’S “UNORTHODOX” & WORKSHOP are not geo-blocked. Anyone can access these programs by registering or purchasing a ticket.
Patrons are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to showtime. In the event of a sell-out, late arriving ticket holders are not guaranteed a seat.
In the event of a sell-out screening, a rush line will be formed. Unoccupied seats will be released at showtime as they become available.
Sponsors, Supporters, and Passholders Late Arrival
All Sponsors, Supporters, and passholders entitled to a reserved seat must arrive five minutes prior to printed screening time in order to be guaranteed their seat. At above said time, seats not yet claimed by sponsors, supporters, or passholders will be released to patrons waiting in the rush line. Numbers will be distributed to all rush line patrons and rush line tickets will be sold as seats become available on a first come, first served basis.
Refunds will only be given if a program is cancelled or in the case of a documented illness or injury.
