Dr. Rebecca Erbelding has worked for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum for thirteen years, first as an acquisitions archivist and now as a research historian. She is currently working on the museum’s next major exhibition on Americans and the Holocaust, opening in the spring of 2018. She graduated with her PhD in American History from George Mason University in 2015. Her first book on the American War Refugee Board’s rescue efforts during the Holocaust will be published by Doubleday in spring/summer 2018.
